All Onboard the Ibiza Express Tourist Train + Routes

The Ibiza Express is a tourist train company that focuses on touring different places in the eastern part of Ibiza. The tours will give you a small dose of history and a take you through the beautiful countryside of Ibiza. Some even stop for a while at the beach for you to enjoy a quick dip and some refreshment.

The train is equipped with speakers so you will get to hear some history or facts about the locations you visit throughout your journey. You will get to hear it in Spanish and English. However if you prefer, you can also download the audio guide on your mobile. The trains are similar to this tourist train below which was photographed in Rome, except the Ibiza trains are more brightly coloured:

Tourist Train Villa Borghese

Like many other well rated tours and activities in Ibiza, the Ibiza Express definitely offers fantastic tours. It is no surprise that their tours are gaining traction. Initially there were only a couple of tours, but over a few years they have increased the amount.

The tours are between 3-4 hours long, hence younger, more energetic kids may not enjoy this type of tour. So it is more suitable for kids that are a little older that can appreciate this sort of thing. You can visit the Ibiza Express website here or read on to get more information.

Departure Points

Ibiza Express Departure Points Map

The trains depart from 4 different points and tour different areas. As you can see from the map, Ibiza Express depart from:

  1. San Miquel – from the taxi square
  2. Portinatx – from the taxi square
  3. Es Figueral – from the bus stop of Cala Blanca here on Google maps.
  4. Es Canar – on the promenade beside the main beach here on Google maps.

It is good to know that these tourist trains operate in the north and safer side of Ibiza.
