Average Cost of a Family Cruise and What You Can Expect to Pay
A cruise is a super exciting experience for any family to enjoy and can make for a great holiday trip. However, when thinking about how much a cruise is going to cost you, you likely are going to expect that it is going to cost an arm and a leg. How much does a cruise cost though?
Cruise fares start off around €152 to €222 per person, depending on the cruise line. However, when adding onboard spending, travellers can expect to pay an additional 25-40% of the original cruise fare. So, for about a week-long cruise, it can cost from about €1,881 to €2,690.
So, clearly, cruises can be expensive if you decide you want to go on a trip. However, the good thing is that cruise prices are mostly all inclusive with some exceptions. So food, most drinks and amenities are included.
This partly offsets the cost once you look at the different room options and amenities that come with going on a cruise. Below, I will go over the major cruise companies, how much they cost, the rooms they have, and what amenities are available for you to enjoy.
